Once you have decided on a look that you like, you just need to grab the bag and you can be assured that all of the pieces that you will need will be there. No more worrying about whether the fitted sheet is sold out, or the last matching decorative pillow available in the store has a stain on it.

Comforter sets are available in a range of fabric choices, depending on the climate in which you live and the time of year you plan to use the bedding. Cotton is a traditional choice, however, comforter sets are also available in satin and jersey fabrics.

Adding to the ease with which a bedroom can be transformed with a new comforter set is the ease with which a comforter set can be purchased. Comforter sets are available at any retailer that sells home goods and bedroom supplies, including Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, Wal-Mart, and Pottery Barn, as well as department stores like Macy’s, Belk, and Bloomingdales.

With the range of stores that carry comforter sets comes the range of prices at which comforter sets are sold, including for king comforter and bedding sets. Many hundreds of dollars can be spent on a comforter set that is made with a very high thread count, uses down feathers in the comforter instead of a material like cotton, or bears a brand name. However, well-made comforter sets can be purchased under $100, even sometimes as low as $30 or $40, especially if you are in the market for a set that contains just a comforter and matching pillow shams.
